The machine functions as a stationary horizontal bandsaw mill, accepting logs up to 90 cm in diameter and 6.3 m in length, making it suitable for both native hardwoods and dimensioned softwood processing.

The LT40 Standard Plus distinguishes itself through integrated hydraulic log handling via the AHP3 system, which manages infeed, positioning, and clamping with precision repeatability. The SW10 electronic setworks provide automated thickness control and dimensional consistency across multiple passes, reducing manual adjustment time and kerf loss. The inclusion of a debarker as standard equipment eliminates the need for secondary debarking operations, while angled bed rails facilitate efficient log rotation and repositioning between cuts, streamlining workflow in continuous production cycles.

This sawmill targets established wood processing businesses and timber mills operating at 5–50 person scale, where production volumes justify capital investment but operations remain operator-dependent rather than fully automated.
