Flexible work cell for window and door frame production with automatic loading and unloading system. Designed for efficient CNC routing and drilling operations.
The Accord WD is a 5-axis CNC machining center purpose-built for high-volume window and door frame production. It combines automatic loading and unloading with intelligent tool management to create a semi-autonomous production cell that minimizes manual handling and maximizes machine utilization across full production shifts. The machine is equipped with a 13 kW electrospindle capable of 18,000 rpm, enabling both aggressive material removal and precision finishing operations in a single setup. Tool accessibility is optimized through a three-tier storage system: 12 positions on the machining head for active tools, 48 positions in the rear store for rapid changeovers, and 12 additional positions on the side, delivering 72 total tool positions. Linear axis speeds of 90 m/min on X-Y and 30 m/min on Z ensure competitive cycle times. Available working envelope configurations of 3680×1905×350 mm or 6360×1905×350 mm accommodate both standard and extended frame dimensions without repositioning. The Accord WD targets medium to large production facilities processing solid wood, engineered wood, and wood composites for architectural joinery. It handles drilling, routing, mortising, and profiling operations required for multi-component frame assembly—including stile-and-rail joinery, hinge and hardware pocket routing, and glazing rebate machining. The automatic loading system supports continuous production runs of 50+ units per shift, making it suitable for contract manufacturers and OEM suppliers serving regional window and door markets.
