The machine's core technical advantage lies in its dual-cutterhead system: operators can swap between TERSA straight-knife geometry (4 knives, 630 x 35 x 3 mm) for clean, traditional finishes, or XYLENT spiral helical configuration (84 micro-knives, 15 x 15 x 2.5 mm each) for superior surface quality and reduced tearout on figured or difficult grain. Both cutterheads mount on 120 mm diameter blocks. The 15 Hp three-phase motor supports feed rates from 4–20 m/min, allowing operators to balance throughput against finish quality. Maximum stock removal per pass is 8 mm, with minimum working height of 3.5 mm and maximum 300 mm, covering components from thin veneered panels to solid dimensional lumber.
