The Stefani SB ONE is a single-sided automatic edge banding and squaring machine designed for sequential panel processing in flexible woodworking environments. It combines edge banding application with dimensional squaring in one pass, eliminating the need for separate equipment and reducing handling between operations. The machine is engineered to process panels with varying geometries and edgebanding specifications without tooling changes, making it particularly suited to job-shop and made-to-order production workflows. Operationally, the SB ONE delivers 12–18 cycles per minute with dual feed speeds optimized for panel orientation: 40 m/min for lengthwise processing and 25 m/min for crosswise processing. It accommodates coil edge materials from 0.3 to 3 mm thickness and solid wood edgebanding up to 25 mm, with panel thickness ranging from 10 to 60 mm. Panel dimensions are highly flexible, supporting lengths from 320 to 3200 mm and widths from 130 to 1600 mm in lengthwise configuration, with crosswise capability extending to 3200 mm width. This dimensional range, combined with the machine's single-pass squaring and banding logic, minimizes scrap and re-work. The machine is engineered for medium to industrial production environments processing engineered panels, veneered substrates, and solid wood assemblies. It performs best in workshops producing kitchen cabinetry, built-in furniture, panel components for construction, and modular furniture systems where batch sizes require flexibility but volume justifies automation. The combination of speed (up to 18 cycles/min) and dimensional range makes it economical for both short runs with size variation and sustained medium-volume production.
