The Stefani X is a single-sided automatic edge bander engineered for high-volume production environments requiring consistent, precision edge application across diverse panel geometries and material specifications. As a member of SCM Group's industrial woodworking portfolio, it delivers automated edge banding without requiring manual operator intervention per cycle, enabling continuous production workflows in modern digital factories. The machine accommodates panel thicknesses from 8 to 60 mm (optionally 80 mm) and edge materials ranging from 0.3 to 12 mm (optionally 22 mm), providing broad compatibility with veneers, edge tapes, and solid wood strips across contemporary panel construction methods. Operating at 25–30 m/min feed speed, the Stefani X maintains throughput efficiency while preserving edge quality and adhesion integrity. System integration with Industry 4.0 environments is supported through digital factory connectivity, enabling production data capture, job sequencing, and quality monitoring from external control systems. This machine serves medium to large-scale manufacturers producing cabinet components, veneered panels, and engineered wood assemblies where edge presentation directly impacts product quality perception and assembly downstream processes.
