TISZABOND D3 I Wood Adhesive (cod 3130)

TISZABOND D3 I (cod 3130) is a professional-grade polyvinyl acetate (PVA) dispersion adhesive with reactive groups, manufactured from pure German raw materials by Szolvegy Vegyipari KFT (Hungary). Designed for the woodworking industry, this D3-class adhesive delivers reliable moisture-resistant bonding for both interior and exterior applications. The adhesive features enhanced adhesion properties that contribute to superior bonding quality. After curing, the adhesive film becomes highly elastic, which significantly extends the service life of cutting tools during subsequent machining operations. This elasticity also produces transparent glue lines that enhance the aesthetics of finished products. TISZABOND D3 I is ideal for gluing solid wood panels, laminate flooring, furniture elements, door and window installations, stair construction, and bonding wood to porous materials such as concrete. It is not recommended for structures permanently exposed to water (boats, ships) or load-bearing structural elements (support beams). The adhesive can be upgraded to D4 class by adding 3.5–5% of the D3D4 additive for applications requiring increased moisture resistance. It can be applied manually with brush, roller, or spatula, or mechanically. Consumption ranges from 120–180 g/m² on normal surfaces, or 60–100 g/m² per side on highly absorbent surfaces. TISZABOND D3 I is frost-resistant to -20°C and can be used after thawing with thorough mixing. It complies with EN71 requirements – non-toxic and non-flammable. Wood moisture should be 8–10% for interior use and 11–15% for exterior applications. Minimum working temperature: 15°C.
