An angular panel saw designed for medium-large companies, capable of high production rates with optional automatic loading-unloading systems. Suitable for rip cutting and cross-cutting operations with multiple dimension configurations.
The Gabbiani A3 is a high-performance angular panel saw engineered for precision rip and cross-cutting operations on sheet materials in medium to large-scale production environments. As part of SCM Group's panel processing lineup, it delivers industrial-grade cutting accuracy with working dimensions ranging from 3200 × 2440 mm up to 5600 × 2440 mm, accommodating full-sheet processing for plywood, MDF, particleboard, and solid wood panels. The machine is built around a dual-blade routing unit with main blade diameters of 430–530 mm and motorization scaling from 15 kW to 37 kW depending on configuration, enabling consistent performance across varying material densities and thicknesses. The saw carriage operates at 170 m/min cutting speed with pusher feed at 135 m/min, delivering throughput rates suitable for high-volume operations. Optional scoring blade capability (200–300 mm diameter) minimizes chipping on coated or veneer-faced panels. The lifting table system ensures ergonomic material handling and precise dimensional repeatability across cut sequences. Optional automatic loading-unloading systems transform the Gabbiani A3 into a fully integrated production cell, eliminating manual material handling bottlenecks and enabling near-continuous operation for shops processing 50+ panels per shift. This makes it the preferred choice for cabinet manufacturers, kitchen and bathroom producers, and large joinery shops running standardized or semi-standardized cutting programs with batch sizes of 100+ units.
