The Gabbiani ST is an ideal automatic single-blade beam saw designed for companies requiring a lean and easy workflow. It offers flexible cutting options with variable speeds and multiple configuration choices.
The Gabbiani ST is an automatic single-blade beam saw purpose-built for high-volume panel processing in modern woodworking facilities. It delivers consistent, precise crosscutting and ripping operations on sheet materials, engineered to streamline workflow while maintaining dimensional accuracy across production runs. The machine combines dual variable-speed axes for optimized cutting dynamics: the saw carriage operates at 0–135 m/min (up to 150 m/min with performance package), while the pusher speed independently adjusts from 0–70 m/min (0–90 m/min optional). This decoupled control allows operators to match cut speed to material type and thickness. The main cutting unit features selectable blade speeds of 3900 or 6300 r.p.m. with a 400 mm diameter blade and 115 mm projection, paired with a dedicated 1.8 kW scoring unit (160 mm blade) for edge quality on coated or veneered panels. Motor power scales from 9 kW base through 11–18 kW configurations to handle varying material densities. Available cutting lengths of 3200, 3800, or 4500 mm accommodate standard panel widths, with 1850–2200 mm cutting depth suitable for full-sheet processing. Six standard clamps (three with frontal alignment) ensure stable fixturing across the working platform, which supports stacked material up to 600 mm in height—enabling batch loading for efficient throughput. The optional scoring unit is critical for minimizing tearout on MDF, melamine, and veneer-faced panels. The Gabbiani ST targets mid-to-large panel processing shops and cabinet manufacturers requiring lean automation without full CNC integration. It bridges manual beam saws and industrial multi-blade systems, offering flexibility in speed and configuration while maintaining enterprise-grade reliability and repeatability.
