Bio-based D3 moisture-resistant PVA wood adhesive with 5% renewable biomass content, from Szolvegy's GREENBOND line. For interior structures exposed to humidity and exterior joinery in moderate climates; upgradeable to D4 with the D3D4 additive. EN 204 compliant, EN 71 non-toxic, PVA chemistry with no added formaldehyde.
TISZABOND D3 GREENBOND 5% (cod 3105) is a mono-component polyvinyl acetate (PVA) dispersion adhesive with D3 water resistance, produced by Szolvegy as the entry point of the GREENBOND bio-based line: 5% of the formulation comes from renewable biomass, reducing the carbon footprint of every glued joint without changing how the adhesive is applied or how it performs. The technical profile targets fast-setting work: Brookfield viscosity of 112 Pas, density around 1.08 g/cm³, an open time of approximately 10 minutes at 20°C and a minimum bonding temperature of 5°C. Cured joints reach a bond strength of at least 10 N/mm², meeting the D3 class requirements of EN 204. Where D4 durability is needed — exterior doors, windows or structures directly exposed to water — the same adhesive is upgraded by adding the D3D4 additive, so one product covers both classes in production. The dispersion is frost-resistant down to -20°C, has a 12-month shelf life and ships in packaging from 5 kg pails to 1,100 kg containers. As a PVA dispersion, TISZABOND D3 GREENBOND contains no added formaldehyde — an increasingly important property as the EU tightens formaldehyde emission limits for wood products under Regulation (EU) 2023/1464, with the new limits applying from August 2026. Combined with EN 71 certification and the 5% biomass content of the GREENBOND line, cod 3105 gives furniture and joinery manufacturers a compliance-ready adhesive for interior structures with elevated humidity, kitchen and bathroom furniture, and exterior joinery in moderate climates.
