Class S 630 - Class S 520

The Class S 630 and Class S 520 are precision thicknessing planers engineered for consistent stock removal and dimensional accuracy across solid wood processing workflows. Both models feature a 7 kW (9.5 HP) main motor and deliver up to 8 mm maximum stock removal per pass, making them suitable for intermediate to finish planing operations on hardwoods and softwoods alike.

These machines differentiate themselves through adjustable feed speed control (4–20 m/min) that enables operators to optimize surface finish quality versus production throughput based on wood species and grain direction. The Class S 630 accommodates workpieces up to 630 mm wide across a 640×1000 mm work table, while the Class S 520 processes stock up to 520 mm wide on a 530×900 mm table.
