The Nova SI 4S is a precision sliding table saw engineered for high-performance solid wood processing in professional woodworking environments. Built on SCM Group's proven platform, it delivers repeatable accuracy for squaring and ripping operations through a combination of rigid construction and sliding table mechanics that ensure consistent cut quality across production runs.

The machine accommodates saw blade diameters up to 315 mm (400 mm with optional scoring unit), enabling blade projection depths of 140 mm at 90° and 99 mm at 46°, which supports both straight crosscuts and angled operations. The squaring capacity reaches 1600 mm, while rip fence cutting widths extend to 1000 mm or 1500 mm depending on configuration. Motor options start at 5 kW (6 kW available) on three-phase supply, providing adequate power for dense hardwoods and continuous production cycles.

The Nova SI 4S suits medium-sized workshops and small-to-medium production facilities processing solid wood components—door frames, cabinet blanks, furniture components, and architectural millwork. Its sliding table design eliminates the need for manual material handling during crosscutting, reducing operator fatigue and improving safety while maintaining dimensional accuracy across hundreds of pieces.
