Stefani SB

The Stefani SB is a specialized squaring edge bander engineered for applying edge banding material to panel edges with precision and speed. Operating as a standalone or integrated solution within larger production lines, this machine handles the complete process of edge application, rounding, and finishing for pre-cut panels destined for furniture assembly and cabinet construction.

The machine delivers productivity of up to 6,000 finished panels per shift and accommodates panel dimensions up to 3200 mm length × 1600 mm width, with standard thickness processing from 8–60 mm (expandable to 80 mm with optional pack). Feed speeds reach 40 m/min for lengthwise processing and 35 m/min for crosswise processing with rounding; users requiring maximum throughput can opt for the HI-DRIVE pack to achieve 70 m/min on lengthwise passes. Edge banding capability spans coil materials 0.3–3 mm thick or solid wood edges up to 25 mm, applied via EVA, PUR, or combination EVA+PUR adhesive technologies, providing flexibility across veneer, laminate, and wood-edge applications.

Designed for medium- to large-scale furniture manufacturers, the Stefani SB handles both standard panel runs and specialized formats including J-Shape profiles and door blanks. Its flexible production architecture supports batch processing of varied panel sizes and materials without extended changeover time, making it suited to job-shop and high-volume production environments simultaneously.
