The Morbidelli CX110 is a precision CNC drilling and routing center engineered for high-volume production of flat-panel woodworking components. It functions as a dedicated machining solution for operations requiring simultaneous multi-spindle drilling, boring, and optional edge routing on panels ranging from 200โ€“3050 mm in length and 50โ€“950 mm in width, with material thickness capability from 8โ€“60 mm.

The machine offers two drilling head configurations: the F19L with 13 vertical and 6 horizontal spindles (4X + 2Y), and the F23L with 13 vertical and 10 horizontal spindles (6X + 4Y), both running at 4200 rpm standard with optional inverter-driven speeds up to 8000 rpm. Both heads feature integrated 125 mm saw blades for trim operations at 5000 rpm (up to 10,000 rpm with inverter). For routing applications, the CX110 accommodates either a 5.5โ€“7.5 kW ER32 electrospindle (1500โ€“18,000 rpm) or a more powerful 7.5โ€“10.2 kW HSK63-F spindle (1500โ€“24,000 rpm) with a 6-position automatic tool changer, enabling seamless profile routing, edge treatments, and finishing passes. Multi-axis speeds reach 50 m/min (X), 40 m/min (Y), and 30 m/min (Z), delivering rapid cycle times for batch production.

The CX110 is purpose-built for medium to industrial-scale manufacturers processing cabinet components, furniture panels, melamine-faced boards, and composite wood materials. Its multi-spindle architecture eliminates sequential drilling operations and reduces setup time, making it ideal for contract manufacturers, OEM suppliers, and in-house production departments handling 50+ panels per shift. The standard 3D PROBE copying system enables template-based production and quality verification, critical for job-shop environments managing diverse customer specifications.
