The DMC SD 90 is a dual-function automatic sanding and calibrating machine engineered to handle thickness machining and surface finishing in a single pass. It combines a 1370mm ร 2620mm sanding belt system with integrated calibration capability, delivering precise dimensional consistency across workpieces up to 1350mm working width. This is a production-class machine designed to eliminate the need for separate sanding and thicknessing operations.
The machine's technical architecture centers on three independent motor groups: dual 11 kW primary motors (one per sanding unit) and modular feed belt motors ranging from 0.6โ1.3 kW, providing speed control from 4.5โ9 m/min. The DMC SD 90 accommodates both mobile and fixed table configurations, with fixed tables supporting material up to 200mm thickness and mobile tables up to 170mm, making it versatile for solid wood, engineered panels, and laminated stock.
