HR500 Horizontal Resaw

The HR500 is a horizontal multi-head resaw designed to break down larger cant stock into finished boards and slab material in a single pass. Unlike traditional single-head resaws, this machine combines multiple saw heads in a modular configuration, allowing operators to produce up to six boards and one slab from a single pass through the machine.

The HR500's modular architecture is its primary technical differentiator. Starting with a two-head base module, operations can scale incrementally by adding up to four additional heads without replacing core equipment—a cost-effective alternative to purchasing multiple machines. The saw heads feature a 0–8° tilt angle for angle cuts and bevel operations, while centralized hydraulic blade tension and lubrication systems ensure consistent cut quality across all heads. A separate control stand isolates all operational controls from the cutting area, improving operator safety and ergonomics. Head adjustment is available in both manual screw and electric up/down variants, accommodating different production workflows.

The HR500 serves small to medium woodworking operations and industrial sawmills processing hardwood and softwood cant material. It is ideal for facilities running production volumes of 50–500 board feet per shift, where throughput efficiency justifies multi-head investment but capital constraints favor modular, scalable solutions. The machine processes cant lengths as short as 1.2 m (with double roller configuration), making it suitable for processing both full-length and shorter stock without waste.
