The Accord 500 Edge is a multi-function CNC machining centre that integrates drilling, routing, and edge banding operations within a single integrated platform, designed for high-precision woodworking production. This machine consolidates three traditionally separate production steps—hole boring, profile routing, and edge application—enabling manufacturers to reduce material handling, minimize setup time, and improve dimensional consistency across finished components.
The machine delivers exceptional process flexibility through configurable working areas spanning from 3715 mm to 6715 mm in the X-axis, paired with 1600–2250 mm Y-axis options and 300 mm Z-height capacity. Two performance variants—PRO-SPACE (X-Y-Z speeds of 25–80–45 m/min) and PRO-SPEED (90–80–45 m/min)—allow manufacturers to balance throughput against precision requirements. The routing unit offers dual spindle configurations: 5-axis electrospindles with 17 kW (23 hp) and 3/4-axis variants with 21 kW (28.5 hp), both capable of 24,000 rpm, supported by tool changers ranging from 11 to 35 positions depending on configuration. The dedicated drilling unit features up to 31 independent vertical and horizontal spindles rotating at 8000 rpm maximum, with an integrated 125 mm saw blade for cross-cutting operations.
The edge banding module handles material thicknesses from 0.4 to 3 mm and heights from 16 to 85 mm, with capacity for up to five edge stock rolls, accommodating solid wood, PVC, ABS, and veneer edge solutions. Multiple working table options—including Flex, Flexdrive, Flexmatic Pro, and Matic configurations—provide adaptive solutions for component geometry and production workflow. This machine targets medium to industrial manufacturers producing flat-pack or case goods, architectural millwork components, and kitchen/bath cabinetry requiring high-speed edge processing and precision hole patterns on panels up to 6.7 meters in length.
