CENTATEQ E-700
CNC Machining Centers — Homag Group
Advanced CNC machining center with dual processing tables and up to three processing spindles for nested production and maximum output. Designed for complex woodworking applications with edge banding and post-processing capabilities.
The CENTATEQ E-700 is a dual-table CNC machining center engineered for high-throughput nested production in industrial woodworking environments. The machine's two synchronized processing tables enable continuous workflow—while one table is being machined, the second can be loaded and unloaded, eliminating idle time and maximizing spindle utilization across full production shifts.
The system accommodates up to three independently controlled processing spindles, allowing simultaneous execution of multiple operations including drilling, milling, edge banding application, and pre/post-snipping without tool changes or secondary handling. This multi-spindle architecture significantly reduces cycle time per component and enables complex nested layouts to be processed in a single machine pass, reducing material waste and operator intervention.
The CENTATEQ E-700 targets industrial and large medium-sized woodworking operations processing panel-based materials—particleboard, MDF, plywood, and solid wood blanks—at volumes exceeding 500+ components per shift. The machine is particularly suited for manufacturers producing kitchen cabinetry, fitted furniture systems, modular furniture ranges, and architectural millwork where component consistency, edge finishing, and throughput are critical to competitiveness.
Within its class, the dual-table design differentiates the E-700 from single-table alternatives by delivering superior uptime and throughput metrics; the multi-spindle capability competes with larger format machining centers while maintaining a more compact footprint. For workshops with moderate floor space but high production demands, this represents a practical alternative to larger, more expensive five-axis systems.
Applications
furniture production
industrial workshopLarge furniture makers leverage the three-spindle setup to execute complex nested cutting, edge profiling, and finishing operations on particle board and plywood blanks in a single pass. The two-table workflow eliminates manual repositioning between machining steps, enabling production of frame components, panel sets, and assembly blanks with high consistency and reduced labor per unit.
custom millwork
medium workshopCustom millwork shops producing built-in cabinetry and architectural joinery components use the E-700 to process solid wood and veneered panels with simultaneous edge banding, drilling, and decorative profiling. The multi-spindle capability reduces job turnaround and allows small lot sizes (50–200 components) to be economically machined without manual tool swaps.
panel processing
medium workshopPanel processors and nesting specialists use the CENTATEQ E-700 to maximize material yield through optimized nested layouts while automating edge treatment and hole drilling. The dual-table design supports 8–10 hour unattended batch runs for medium-volume panel suppliers serving multiple downstream workshops.
cabinet making
industrial workshopManufacturers producing modular cabinetry systems benefit from the E-700's ability to process pre-cut panels with simultaneous edge banding, drilling for hinges/handles, and pocket hole operations in nested arrays. Dual tables allow continuous loading while one batch machines, supporting production runs of 200–500+ cabinet sides, tops, and bottoms per day without material staging between operations.
