The Oikos XL is a 6-axis CNC machining centre purpose-built for high-precision processing of solid wood and laminated timber elements in structural and prefabricated building applications. The machine combines vertical and horizontal routing capability with integrated saw functionality, enabling complex joinery, mortising, and cross-cutting operations on large workpieces in a single setup.
The machine accommodates workpieces up to 19,000mm in length and cross-sections up to 1,250 ร 610mm, with a maximum working weight of 4,000kg per piece. The 25kW primary routing unit paired with a 740mm sawblade and 18-position automatic tool changer enables efficient multi-operation workflows without manual tool changes. The six-axis configuration allows simultaneous processing on multiple faces, significantly reducing setup time and handling cycles typical in traditional timber machining.
