Return conveyor system designed to harmonize with HOMAG Group's unilateral edge banding machines. Features automatic part turning, high positioning accuracy, and energy-efficient electric drive technology.
The LOOPTEQ O-600 is a precision return conveyor system engineered as a downstream processing module for HOMAG Group's edge banding machinery. It automatically receives, repositions, and recirculates workpieces back to the edge bander for multi-sided processing, eliminating manual handling and enabling continuous production loops without operator intervention between operations. The system handles workpieces from 240 mm to either 2500 mm (O-600/25) or 3000 mm (O-600/30) in length, with widths up to 1200 mm and thickness ranging from 8–60 mm. Maximum workpiece weight capacity is 80 kg with a mass distribution limit of 25 kg/m². The conveyor operates at adjustable feed speeds between 12–36 m/min, allowing synchronization with upstream edge banding speeds. Critical to its integration capability, the O-600 features programmable automatic part rotation (0°, ±90°, 180°) that enables edge banding on multiple sides without manual repositioning—essential for four-sided edge processing of panel components and solid wood assemblies. The O-600 is purpose-built for medium to industrial woodworking facilities processing panel goods, furniture components, and construction elements where edge banding is applied to multiple surfaces. The system is specified for production environments requiring 50+ machines or operations per shift, where labor efficiency and consistent part positioning directly impact throughput. Optional destacking stations allow integration of additional processing workflows, making it suitable for cabinet shops, panel processors, and industrial furniture manufacturers operating in continuous or semi-continuous production modes. Within its class as a return conveyor for edge banding systems, the O-600 distinguishes itself through automatic rotation capability and precise speed synchronization (12–36 m/min range), which competing systems often require as add-on modules. The adjustable working height (835–950 mm) accommodates ergonomic integration into existing edge banding lines without structural modification.
