The SAWTEQ S-400 | S-410 flexTec is a fully automated panel dividing saw system designed for high-precision crosscutting and lengthwise ripping of panel materials in industrial production environments. At its core, the machine combines a servo-driven saw carriage with an integrated 6-axis industrial robot and specialized suction traverse, enabling unmanned batch size 1 production without operator intervention between cycles. This architecture allows manufacturers to process panels, strips, and dimensioned parts with consistent accuracy while simultaneously handling material loading, cutting, and unloading.
The machine delivers exceptional throughput with saw carriage speeds up to 150 m/min (170 m/min optional) and program fence positioning at 90 m/min, while maintaining blade projection of 110 mm (125 mm option) across cutting lengths of 3,800 mm or 4,300 mm. Power delivery from an 18โ24 kW main saw motor (50 Hz) or 21โ28 kW (60 Hz) ensures efficient processing of engineered panels, solid wood blanks, and composite materials. The 24" full-HD multi-touch interface paired with CADmatic 5 software provides real-time production monitoring, nesting optimization, and direct CAD integration for seamless job preparation.
This system is engineered for operations producing high-volume standardized cuts as well as frequent job changeovers characteristic of batch processing and made-to-order production. The robot-driven suction traverse eliminates manual material handling bottlenecks, making it ideal for facilities processing 50+ daily cutting plans across varied customer specifications.
