HOLZ-HER DYNESTIC Series

CNC Machining Centers — Weinig Group

Advanced nesting CNC machining centers with integrated nesting technology for efficient formatting and drilling operations. Delivers precisely formatted workpieces with grooves, rebates, and vertical holes in a single setup without additional handling.

The HOLZ-HER DYNESTIC Series represents a class of advanced CNC machining centers purpose-built for multi-operation wood panel processing. These nesting-capable systems consolidate formatting, drilling, and edge work into a single automated platform, eliminating secondary machine requirements and reducing material handling between operations. The integrated nesting software automatically optimizes part layout across the vacuum holding surface, maximizing yield from sheet stock while maintaining positional accuracy across all machining operations.

The DYNESTIC Series employs large-surface vacuum holding technology with modular wear plates, enabling simultaneous processing of multiple workpiece configurations without repositioning. The three machining center variants provide flexibility in spindle count and automation configurations—from single-spindle configurations for job-shop flexibility to multi-spindle setups for throughput-focused operations. This architecture supports both horizontal and vertical machining operations, allowing complex geometries including rebates, grooves, pocket drilling, and profile routing in single fixturing cycles.

The platform targets medium to industrial woodworking operations producing cabinet components, architectural millwork, and panel-based furniture at volumes exceeding 500 pieces per SKU monthly. It serves shops transitioning from manual nesting and sequential machining to automated, nested batch production. The DYNESTIC excels in applications requiring tight tolerances (±0.5mm capability), consistent edge quality, and rapid job changeover—particularly valuable for custom order batches and seasonal product variations common in European cabinet and furniture manufacturing.

Within its class, the DYNESTIC Series differentiates through nesting intelligence built directly into the machine controller rather than requiring external optimization software, reducing setup complexity and shortening lead time from order to production. The modular vacuum system accommodates panel thicknesses from 15mm to 40mm without secondary fixture changes, and the series' ability to process pre-edgebanded or pre-veneered stock expands material capability beyond raw particleboard.

Applications

cabinet component production

industrial workshop

DYNESTIC Series machines execute high-volume production of cabinet box components—sides, tops, bottoms, backs, and shelving—with integrated drilling for dowel holes, pocket holes, and hardware mounting. The nesting engine optimizes multiple component types across single sheet loads, reducing waste and accelerating job turnaround for batch sizes of 200–2,000 pieces per product configuration. Vacuum holding preserves surface finish on pre-finished or veneered panels while delivering repeatability required for assembly-line cabinet construction.

custom architectural millwork

medium workshop

Specialty millwork shops leverage DYNESTIC capability to produce custom-ordered architectural elements—wall paneling, built-in cabinetry components, and decorative screens—each with unique hole patterns, rebates, and profile routing. The single-setup consolidation of formatting and machining operations reduces job cycle time, enabling economical production of low-repeat orders (50–300 units) that would be cost-prohibitive on traditional sequential machining layouts.

window and door component production

industrial workshop

Window and door manufacturers employ DYNESTIC systems to machine frame components and panel inserts with integrated groove cutting (for glazing seals), hinge drilling, and lock-mounting bore preparation. Large-surface vacuum holding accommodates full-width frame stock, and nesting capability allows efficient batch processing of multiple door and window styles within single production runs.

furniture panel processing

Furniture manufacturers use DYNESTIC Series to process flat-pack and modular furniture panels, combining edge profiling, edge-banding prep drilling, and hardware mounting holes in single cycles. The nesting software accommodates multiple SKU designs simultaneously, optimizing material utilization across production runs while maintaining the positional accuracy necessary for knock-down assembly and precise hardware alignment.
