The Morbidelli CX210 and CX220 are precision CNC drilling centres purpose-built for high-volume batch production of wooden panels and components. These machines automate multi-axis drilling, routing, and dowel insertion in a single pass, eliminating the need for secondary operations on panels up to 3050mm in length and 1300mm width with thickness capacity to 95mm.
Both models feature the F31LTC or F21L drilling unit architecture with vertically-mounted spindles (21 and 13 respectively) and coordinated horizontal spindle arrays (6×4 and 6×2 configurations) operating at 8000 rpm for precision boring and pocket drilling. The integrated routing spindle achieves 24000 rpm at 7.5 kW for edge profiling and mortising, while the dedicated saw blade unit at 5500 rpm handles crosscutting and Clamex joining preparation. Rapid X-Y-Z axis traverse speeds of 70/40/30 m/min ensure minimal cycle times between drilling stations.
The CX210 targets medium to large-scale shops producing cabinet panels, kitchen components, and modular furniture requiring consistent multi-hole boring patterns with integrated glue-dowel assembly.
