The Morbidelli UX series is a family of CNC drilling centres engineered for high-precision, multi-operation machining of wooden panels and solid wood components. These machines simultaneously perform drilling, routing, and grooving operations through an integrated system of vertical and horizontal spindles, eliminating the need for secondary processing and reducing production cycle times.

The UX series distinguishes itself through configurable spindle density and axis performance. The UX100 configuration operates 31+31 vertical spindles (6000 rpm) paired with 8 horizontal spindles in the X-axis and 4 in the Y-axis, while the UX200/UX200D models scale to 48+48 vertical spindles with 16 X-axis and 4 Y-axis horizontal spindlesโ€”enabling parallel drilling across panel widths up to 1300 mm. All models deliver rapid axis travel speeds of 120 m/min (X), 35 m/min (Y), and 30 m/min (Z), critical for minimizing non-cutting time. The integrated routing blade (125 ร˜ mm at 7500 rpm) handles edge and surface grooving without tool changes, while optional 9.5 kW electrospindles at 24,000 rpm support advanced profiles and finishing operations. The UX200D variant adds dual dowel insertion systems with variable step capability for edge-banding and joining applications.
