STORETEQ Storage System
CNC Machining Centers — Homag Group
Intelligent and proactive storage management system that grows with your storage portfolio and exploits full storage potential sustainably. Perfectly coordinated with processing machines through standardized interfaces or as a pure order picking storage system.
The STORETEQ is an intelligent automated storage and retrieval system purpose-built for woodworking facilities requiring high-throughput material logistics integrated with CNC production lines. Unlike static storage solutions, STORETEQ combines dynamic bridge and carriage motion (60–120 m/min bridge speed, 80–120 m/min carriage speed) with self-learning cross-rail technology that automatically separates and retrieves panel stock based on minimal material input parameters, eliminating manual sorting bottlenecks.
Available in two scalable configurations—P-300 (up to 12,000 mm span width, 50,000 mm frame length) and P-500 (up to 16,000 mm span width, 100,000 mm frame length)—the system accommodates raw boards from 6 mm thickness, MDF at 3 mm, and coated materials as thin as 0.8 mm, with individual panel weights up to 350 kg when fully equipped. The lifting drive operates at 30–65 m/min, enabling rapid stack cycling. Stack heights of 2,100 mm (basic) and 2,500 mm (equipped) maximize vertical storage density while remaining ergonomically accessible.
The system's self-learning algorithm reduces setup complexity to just two material parameters, learning material behavior across panel widths from 400–2,200 mm and lengths from 1,200–5,600 mm. This intelligence drives sustainable utilization of storage capacity—the machine proactively optimizes material flow, reduces waste-inducing delays, and scales with your operation as production demands grow.
STORETeq is engineered for operations running integrated CNC ecosystems where material availability directly impacts machine utilization. It suits facilities processing high volumes of heterogeneous stock (mixed thicknesses, materials, dimensions) that cannot justify purely manual warehousing but require flexibility beyond rigid automated systems. The modular span and length configurations allow deployment in constrained floor plans typical of mid-to-large wood manufacturing shops.

Applications
cabinet and furniture manufacturing
medium workshopCabinet makers leverage STORETEQ's self-learning material recognition to manage component kits spanning raw MDF (3 mm), coated substrates (0.8 mm), and solid wood blanks (6+ mm) without manual line-side sorting. Automated retrieval at 60–120 m/min bridge speeds feeds CNC edge-banders and machining centers with exact panel sequences, reducing changeover delays and enabling mixed-batch production runs that would be uneconomical with manual staging.
flooring and construction elements
industrial workshopFlooring and engineered construction element manufacturers running high-velocity production (300+ units daily) use STORETEQ to manage blanks, strips, and pre-machined components with weights up to 350 kg per panel. The system's 30–65 m/min lifting speed and 100-meter maximum frame length enable storage of thousands of precut components, with intelligent retrieval feeding cross-cutting, grading, and finishing lines at rates that match or exceed downstream machine capacity.
custom millwork and small batch
medium workshopSmall-to-medium custom millwork shops use P-300 configurations (up to 12-meter spans, 50-meter lengths) to efficiently store diverse job-lot inventory—solid wood glulam beams, veneered substrates, and specialty boards—without dedicated labor for material retrieval. The machine's ability to learn material parameters from just two inputs makes it practical for shops running 5–20 unique material SKUs per week, bridging the gap between manual storage and fully rigid AS/RS systems.
panel processing high volume
industrial workshopLarge-scale panel processors benefit from STORETEQ's dual-configuration flexibility: P-500 systems handling 100-meter frame lengths store thousands of cut panels (1,200–5,600 mm lengths, 400–2,200 mm widths) in compressed footprints. Self-learning cross-rail separation eliminates manual sorting of mixed thicknesses (6 mm raw boards through 0.8 mm coated veneers), allowing CNC machining centers to call materials just-in-time at 80–120 m/min carriage speed, dramatically reducing machine idle time and floor inventory.
